About Summer's Past Farm
Summers Past Farms is a small family business with gardens, a nursery and gift shops on Old Highway 80 in the Flinn Springs area of El Cajon, about 30 minutes east of downtown San Diego. Each October it runs a pumpkin patch with field-grown pumpkins.
What happens at the pumpkin patch?
You wander the patch, pick your favorite pumpkins and fill a wheelbarrow with them. Admission is free.
When is it open?
The pumpkin patch runs through the month of October. The farm is open Thursday through Sunday and closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes. The farm says it is pet and animal friendly, and there are cats, dogs and chickens living on the property.
