Relleke Farms Pumpkin Patch on Sand Prairie Road in Granite City has been selling pumpkins for about 45 years on land the family has farmed for nearly a century. The farm is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, and its fall festival runs Saturdays and Sundays through October 31.
Is there an entry fee?
No. Admission and parking are free. Pumpkins are 65 cents a pound, and activities use $1 tickets, each costing from 1 to 8 tickets.
What is there on festival weekends?
A 6-acre corn maze, a haunted maze, a petting zoo with a mini cow, baby pigs and goats, pony and camel rides, a pumpkin cannon, slides, bounce houses, a train ride and a hayride. The hayride does not stop in the field for shopping.
Can we come on a weekday?
Yes, but activities are limited. A $7 wristband per child covers a pie pumpkin, animal feed and the play areas.
Are there special weekends?
Fire Safety Weekend is October 17 and 18, and there is live music every weekend.
