Steele Farms on West 300 North near Decatur opened its 2026 fall season on Saturday, September 26. Its corn maze theme this year is Land That I Love, a tribute to the nation's 250th anniversary.
What do kids do there?
Visit the farm animals, play in the Play Zone, take a wagon ride and pick out a pumpkin. In the corn maze, the Farm Scene Investigation game has kids hunt for clues to solve who kidnapped the farmer.
How much is the Play Zone?
It is $5 a person, and children 2 and under are free. It includes a wagon ride, and it is also covered by a general admission ticket.
What should we wear and bring?
Sturdy, closed-toe shoes for the pumpkin patch. Leave pets at home, though service dogs are welcome. The concession stand has hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, hot chocolate and apple cider slushies.
