Carpenter Farms on US-223 just outside Adrian is a fifth-generation family farm that opens for spring greenhouse sales and for fall family fun. Its 2026 fall season runs from September 12 through October 30.
What are the fall hours?
Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
What will the kids do?
There is a corn maze, hayrides, friendly barnyard animals to pet, a straw pit, corn boxes and a straw maze. The farm grows more than 60 varieties of pumpkins, squash and gourds.
How big is the corn maze?
It covers about 15 acres and takes roughly an hour to finish. The farm calls it a mystery maze, with colored placards hidden inside that give clues to a mystery word.
Is there anything to do if it rains?
The straw maze for younger visitors is indoors, so it stays open in any weather. For day-to-day weather closures, the farm posts updates on its Facebook page.
