Gust Brother's Pumpkin Farm on Mulberry Road in Ottawa Lake is a working farm with a you-pick pumpkin patch, farm animals and a donut barn. It is open daily from Labor Day to Halloween, which this year runs from Monday, September 7 through Saturday, October 31.
What are the hours, and is there an entry fee?
Every day from 9 AM to 7 PM. Parking is free and there is no admission, so you pay only for what you buy.
What can the kids do?
They can see, pet and feed cows and calves, sows with baby pigs, sheep, goats, chickens and chicks, and the bunnies in the bunny barn. Hayrides run when the weather allows, and there is a sunflower field and a you-cut flower patch.
What is there to eat?
Warm farm-made donuts in cinnamon sugar, sprinkles or glaze, pumpkin cookies, cider, apple cider slushies and snacks. The donut barn and lean-to have plenty of seating.
Can we bring our dog?
No. The farm asks that pets stay home for the safety of guests and animals. Trained service dogs are allowed.
