Obstbaum Orchards

Obstbaum Orchards on Currie Road, in the Salem area near Northville, is a family apple orchard and cider mill that has been running for more than 40 years. It opened for the 2026 fall season on the weekend of August 29.

When is it open?

Weekends only, Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Hours follow the harvest, so check the farm's Facebook page for that weekend's u-pick and stock.

What is there to do?

Fresh-pressed cider, warm donuts, pies and other treats in the mill, with u-pick apples when varieties are ripe and hayrides when posted. There are picnic areas inside and out, and restrooms in the store.

What should we wear for picking?

Closed-toe shoes, and clothes that can get muddy on wet days. U-pick rows open only when fruit is ready and the weather allows. Cash, Venmo and major credit cards are accepted.
