About Spicer Orchards

Spicer Orchards on Clyde Road in Fenton is a large u-pick orchard with a farm market, a bakery and its own winery. Fall weekends there began with the Harvest Festival on September 12, and the corn maze is open.

When is it open?

The farm market is open every day from 9 AM to 7 PM, and the winery from 11 AM to 8 PM. Picking wagons start at 9 AM, and the last one heads out at 5:30 PM.

How does picking and the playground work?

Wristbands are required for the playground, wagon and orchards, and children 2 and under are free. You must ride the wagon out to pick. If you only want the playground, a separate wristband is $5 a person, and the train ride is included.

What do the corn maze and hayride cost?

The corn maze is $15 a person, with a cider and donut when you finish, and there is a discount if you are also picking apples. The scenic hayride through the orchards is $8 with cider and a donut, or $5 without, mostly on fall weekends.

Is there a quieter time to go?

Fall weekends get busy through October. The farm suggests coming early in the day or on a weekday, especially Monday through Thursday. Pets are not allowed in the orchards, only service animals.
