Robinette's Apple Haus & Winery on 4 Mile Road is about ten minutes from Grand Rapids and has been in the same family since 1911. Its corn maze runs through November 8, and the Apple Haus bakery and cider mill are open every day.
What can we do there in the fall?
Pick apples, take a hayride and walk the corn maze, which this year has a Dolly Parton design. The orchards cover 125 acres and grow 35 varieties of apples.
Is everything open every day?
The corn maze is open daily until 5 PM. Hayrides run Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the petting zoo is on Sundays, and u-pick is on weekends in September and October.
What is in the Apple Haus?
A bakery, a lunch counter and eating area, the cider mill and the farm's own fruit, so cider and donuts are an easy stop. Next door, the winery pours house-made wines and hard ciders from 10 AM to 6 PM.
