Black River and Western Railroad

The Black River and Western Railroad runs a Pumpkin Train each fall from Flemington Station out to Everitt Farms at Pumpkin Junction. The 2026 Pumpkin Trains began on Saturday, September 26, and run on weekends.

What does the ticket include?

A round-trip train ride from Flemington, entry to the 6-acre pumpkin patch, the corn maze, the kids' corn box and straw-bale maze, and wagon rides around the farm. Pumpkins cost extra, and food and drinks are sold at the farm.

Should we buy tickets ahead?

Yes, reserving online is recommended. Walk-up tickets are sold at the station only if seats are left, and if a departure shows sold out, none are held back.

Anything to know before we go?

There are no restrooms at or near Flemington Station, and the ones on board are for emergencies only, so plan a stop first. Leave big bags in the car, and leave pets at home, since only trained service animals may ride.
