The Dent Schoolhouse

The Dent Schoolhouse on Harrison Avenue in Cincinnati is a haunted house set in a real public school that opened in 1894. 2026 is its 30th season, and it runs on select nights through October 31.

How do tickets work?

Buy online and pick a date and time slot, since nights sell out. A limited number of tickets are sold at the door for $5 more. A Fast Pass is $20 and up, and Front of the Line is $40 and up.

Can someone in our group skip the haunt and wait?

Yes. Free chaperone passes let someone wait in the Monster Midway, which every ticket holder also gets into after the haunt.

Where do we park, and does it run in the rain?

Parking is free at the Children's Hospital and Christ Hospital lots up the street. It stays open rain or shine, and cards and cash are taken at all booths.
