“PUMPKIN TRAIN September 19 - October 25, 2026 / Saturdays and Sundays”
nworrp.org/pumpkin-train.html
Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation is a volunteer railroad museum on County Road 99 in Findlay with quarter-scale train rides. In the fall it runs a Pumpkin Train on weekends from September 19 through October 25, 2026.
How does the Pumpkin Train work?
You ride the small train out to the pumpkin patch, choose a pumpkin, load it on the flatcar and ride one more loop back to the station. It runs Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 PM.
What does it cost?
Rides are $3 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Pumpkins cost extra, but you do not have to buy one.
Are there other fall events?
The Findlay Fall Harvest Festival is October 2 to 4, with Pumpkin Train rides, bounce houses, corn cannons and pumpkin chucking. There is also a Trick-or-Treat Halloween Train on October 17 and 24, and the Halloween Express runs after dark through October 31.
Is there more to see at the museum?
Yes. There is a gift shop, a museum and Lionel, HO and N scale model train layouts. Call (419) 423-2995 with questions.
