The Haunted Mine is an underground haunted attraction at the Tour-Ed Mine on Bull Creek Road in Tarentum. The 2026 season runs Fridays and Saturdays plus a few Sundays from September 25 through October 31.
Which nights is it open?
Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 11 PM, through October 30 and 31, and Sundays October 11, 18 and 25 from 6 to 9 PM.
What happens inside?
The route takes you through a caretaker's cabin, a haunted mansion, a chamber of dark experiments and a graveyard, then on a haunted train car ride through the mine.
Do we need tickets ahead of time?
No. Tickets are sold at the gate, with no advance purchase needed, and cash and credit cards are accepted. Parking is free. Pets are not allowed underground, and no alcohol or drugs are permitted.
