Northill Orchard

Northill Orchard on Scholl Road in Winfield is a family-run fruit farm where you can pick your own fruit in season, and in fall it adds a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, hayrides and a sunflower field. The 2026 corn maze runs from late August through November 7.

When is it open?

Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM. It is closed on Sundays, so plan a Saturday trip if weekends are your only option.

Is the corn maze okay with a stroller?

Yes. There is a trail around the outside of the corn maze for families with small children or strollers, so you get the cornfield without the worry of anyone getting lost inside.

Do we have to cut our own pumpkin?

No. The pumpkins in the patch are pre-cut, so you just walk through and choose the ones you want, with no vines to trip over.

What else is there for kids?

Hay-bale wagon rides around the orchard, an apple slingshot, RC boat rentals, farm animals and a sunflower field to walk through. The market sells peach and cider slushies made from the orchard's own fruit, plus apples, mums, pumpkins and gourds.
