Indian Springs Ranch in Manchaca, about 14 minutes from Austin, is a shaded ranch with exotic animals that runs a Fall Festival from September 26 through November 1, 2026. Animals include camels, bison, zebras, water buffalo and llamas.
What are the hours and prices?
Thursdays and Fridays 2 to 6 PM for $12, and Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM to 6 PM for $17, plus tax and fees. Under 2 is free. It is also open Monday, October 12, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Do we need tickets in advance?
For weekend mornings, yes. Those tickets are sold by arrival window online, and none are sold at the door before 11 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. The ranch opens at 9 AM on some October weekends.
Can the kids feed the animals?
Yes, you can buy a bucket of feed and feed animals through the fence, though they roam freely and may not always be by the patch. There are also 30+ pumpkin varieties, a tipi, a weekend jumping pillow and a low ropes course for small children.
What should we know before we go?
No pets, no smoking and no alcohol. Parking is free, with restrooms, shaded picnic tables, pumpkin wagons and a quiet room for moms and babies.
