elvesfarm.com, read September 18, 2026
Elves Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch has been a family tradition in Denison since 1989, about an hour north of Dallas. Its 2026 pumpkin season opens Saturday, October 3, and runs every weekend in October.
What are the weekend hours?
Saturdays 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays 1 to 5 PM. It is open weekends only for the public, and weekday tours are by appointment for groups.
How do the ticket options work?
The $15 Pumpkin Tour includes all activities and one pumpkin from the patch. The $10 Ride Along Tour includes the activities but no pumpkin, so families often mix the two. You can also just shop the farmers market barn for pumpkins, gourds and specialty varieties.
What are the activities?
Hayrides, a maze, a hay jump, dress-your-own scarecrow stations and a farm zoo with horses, chickens, goats, Kune Kune pigs and rabbits. A pumpkin slingshot and a corn cannon cost extra.
How can we pay?
Cash, checks and most credit cards, with a $5 minimum on cards. Choose-and-cut Christmas trees start Friday, November 27.
