Fog Willow Farms is a 9-acre pumpkin farm on Cecatra Drive in Wilton, now in its 24th season. It opened on Saturday, September 26, with hayrides, a petting zoo, pig races, slides and a jumbo jumper, and it says plainly that there are no haunted houses or spooky creatures.
How much is admission?
General admission is $12 per person for ages 3 and up. It covers unlimited hayrides, the petting zoo and the adventure course, but not Picketts Picasso painting, food and drink, The Big Dig family mining, or The Back Forty, which is $8 extra.
When is it open?
Weekdays from noon to 6 PM and weekends from 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Picketts Picasso painting runs on weekends only.
Can we bring our own food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food to the farm. There is also a snack bar, and the Sugar Shed sells pies, fudge, caramel apples and other treats.
Anything else to know before we go?
The farm is non-smoking to protect its oak trees. It also notes that the closer you get to Halloween, the more crowded a pumpkin patch becomes.
