Rader Family Farms on Ropp Road in Normal is a large fall farm with a 12-acre corn maze, an apple orchard, u-pick pumpkins and dozens of activities. The 2026 season runs from Friday, September 4 through Sunday, November 1, Wednesday through Sunday plus Columbus Day.
What are the hours and admission?
10 AM to 6 PM, Wednesday through Sunday and on Columbus Day. Admission for ages 4 to 64 is $19.95 Wednesday through Friday and $21.95 on weekends and Columbus Day, and children 3 and under are free.
Are there evening maze nights?
Yes. Flashlight night mazes run Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 24 from 6:30 to 9 PM, with the last maze entry at 8 PM. Admission is $10 for ages 4 and up, and you should bring a flashlight. Most other farm activities are closed on those nights.
Can we bring our own food?
No, outside food and coolers are not allowed. On weekends there are several places to eat, including the Barnyard Grill and the Harvest Brew Coffee Shop, and the farm is known for its pumpkin donuts.
Anything to know with kids?
Anyone 14 and younger must be with a paid adult in the corn maze and on the farm. The season ends Sunday, November 1 with Orange Crush, a pumpkin smashing day from 1 to 4 PM.
