About Ort Farms

Ort Farms on Bartley Road in Long Valley has been in the Ort family since 1916. Its Fall Festival Weekends run every weekend in September and October, with apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, farm animals, kids' play areas and the corn maze.

What are the hours?

The farm market is open daily 9 AM to 7 PM and the homemade ice cream 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The orchard is open 9:30 AM to 6 PM, with last admission at 5:30 PM.

Does it cost money to get in?

There is no fee to visit the farm animals and kids' play area. On pick-your-own Festival Weekends, full-farm admission applies. Parking is free, and the farm takes cash and cards.

Can we bring the dog?

Yes, on a leash, in the pumpkin patch, sunflower field and corn maze. Dogs cannot ride the hayride to the pumpkin patch, though you can walk down, and they are not allowed in fruit or vegetable areas or inside the market.

Will a stroller work?

The lawn with the animals, picnic area and play structures is generally stroller friendly. Out in the picking fields the farm suggests a jogging stroller or baby carrier, and wagons are allowed. Restrooms are portable toilets.
